What We Do

+ Medical Missions

The annual mission aids Vietnam’s under-served, bringing medical teams to provide life-changing surgeries for children with birth defects and eye problems and primary care services to children at rural communes and schools. The medical teams also collect meaningful data on prevalent health conditions and health status in rural areas, especially for women and children. The information allows us to develop appropriate interventions and local pilot programs to upgrade the existing healthcare system.

+ Training

Project Vietnam brings volunteer faculty to update local health personnel through national conferences, training courses and hands-on clinical teaching. Ongoing exchanges are maintained through consultations and research projects.

+ Collaborative Projects

Project  Vietnam Foundation works with health professionals in Vietnam to improve health policies for children, through development of pilot programs. Ongoing work aims to improve Newborn health, children emergency care, infection control, childhood asthma, school-based rural healthcare & services for children with special needs.

Project Vietnam is actively recruiting volunteers for Training and Collaborative Projects at multiple hospital-based program sites in Rach Gia-Kien Giang, Binh Duong, Pediatric Hospitals and Nhan Dan Gia Dinh Hospital in SaiGon city, Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Vinh-Nghe An, and Vinh Phuc.
