The two-week Medical Mission trips occur annually in March when the weather in Vietnam is most comfortable and bring the teams to work at areas of poor access to serve needy children and adults.
Medical/Dental/Vision care are provided by the Primary Care and Dental teams and the Surgery team works at the province hospital to offer free operations for children with birth and eye defects.
The two-week Summer Service Camp is held annually during late June – early July and gathers approximately 60 high school and college students, as well as healthcare professionals, from North America and other countries to work with the Primary Care Team at underserved rural locations of Vietnam providing Medical/Dental/Vision care, serving children with special needs and helping the needy communities alongside with local Vietnam students. The group works at health clinics, undertakes rehabilitation/construction projects and visits children with special needs at orphanages and centers for handicapped children.
Looking to contribute in a different way, from home, or using your special skills, during your available times? We are recruiting for e-volunteers who can work online to provide administrative support, help create electronic media (draft materials, work with photos, edit videos…), or research online for our educational materials.
